What is your view of fundraising? Do you believe that fundraising is part of God’s plan for your ministry or just something you have to do even though you don’t enjoy it?
In my opinion, fundraising is part of God’s plan for your ministry and a powerful catalyst for involving God’s people in His Kingdom work.
God puts His dreams in people’s hearts. He stirs the hearts of believers. He fills them with compassion for the poor, with righteous anger for those who are treated unjustly and with a passion to take the good news of Jesus to the nations.
Also, God touches the hearts of people like you by prompting them to start a ministry or to serve in one that is already touching lives in different ways.
So, God uses your fundraising efforts to bring to your ministry people whose dreams are similar to yours. They are moved by your passion and stories and are inspired to give when they see that they can make a difference in the world, they can fulfil their God given dreams, through your ministry.
These people who respond to your fundraising ‘asks’ become your valued partners – together you transform lives by sharing God’s love through your words and deeds.
